Rosacea Diagnosis & Treatment

Rosacea is a red skin rash that appears in the middle of the face, including the cheeks, chin, nose, and central forehead.

Rosacea can present without symptoms or may be associated with flushing, blemishes, acne-like breakouts, or even deep cystic nodules (bumps). Most patients have a genetic predisposition to this condition, which typically worsens during or after the 3rd decade of life.

Sun exposure makes rosacea worse and certain foods and activities can trigger flushing.
