Happy 4th of July From DCF

July 3, 2012
By: Eric Weisberg

As we head into the holiday, I think back on my decision to become part of the community in Frisco, Denton and the surrounding areas and know that I could not have made a better decision.

Our patients search us out from all over, coming from Oklahoma, West Texas and south all the way to Austin.  We are thankful for each and every patient that has come to see us over the years and humbled by the sheer number.

What does this have to do with July 4th? Showing and having pride in our country, being proud of what our country has accomplished over the years, is a big part of the 4th of July.  From the fireworks, to the BBQ, to the family and friends with whom we gather. To me, it is a day to take pride in all of this.

I started our practice in December 2007 without a single patient and only one employee.  We now have 3 full-time providers and over a dozen employees in just 4 ½ short years. We have been voted Best in Frisco by overwhelming margins by the community and have won Best of Business in Frisco rating by an independent auditor. We owe all of this success to our hardworking staff and you, the patient, who have chosen us, over others, to provide you with quality dermatologic care. I believe our patients take pride in telling their friends and family that they see us for their dermatology care and we take pride in delivering this care as effectively as we possibly can.

At Dermatology Consultants of Frisco (DCF) and Precision Dermatology, our team takes pride in taking care of our patients. We believe in the team approach and understand it takes every member of the team to provide the highest-level of service. We believe each patient is special and we strive to provide him or her with the highest quality care possible. Our patients are our friends, our family and our neighbors. We are part of the community and we are proud of what our communities have accomplished over the years. Pride in our practice, our business, our patients and our community is what we offer. Taking pride in our country is what brings us together on the 4th of July and it is also what brings together our patients and our practice.

It’s true, there are a lot of areas of society that one can be critical of, but July 4th is not the day to perseverate over the negatives. So, grab your sunblock, your friends and family, and enjoy everything you can about our country, the society we built as Americans, and our local communities. We owe this to ourselves and those who came before us, just like our practice owes our success to our patients and our hardworking team.

Happy 4th of July,
