Leah Schiller, PA-C: Leah recently relocated to Texas from Detroit, Michigan to join our practice and is currently residing in Dallas. We are very excited and privileged to be able to share with our patients Leah’s energy, love of learning and skill in dermatology
Leah was born and raised in a small community north of Detroit. Living on a Michigan lake her entire life, Leah learned at a young age to love everything outdoors and water related. Her winters were filled with skiing, snowboarding, skating and riding snowmobiles. Although Leah was tolerant and determined to enjoy Michigan’s cold snowy winters, her true love was time spent on the water enjoying the short but warm summers. Leah started waterskiing, with her parents and brother, at the age of 4; she continues to enjoy the delights of the summer sun while skiing, wakeboarding and surfing. Aside from her love of the outdoors and being physical, education and learning have always played a major role in her life. She attended The University of Michigan, where she graduated summa cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology. Leah realized her passion for dermatology while working full time in the field both during and after earning her bachelors degree. This passion ultimately motivated her to continue her education at The University of Detroit Mercy where she earned a Medical Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Leah is certified by the NCCPA and licensed by the state of Texas to practice medicine as a PA. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. Leah is skilled and licensed to perform full skin exams, diagnose, and treat skin disorders as well as perform several cosmetic and medical procedures. She enjoys seeing pediatric, general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology patients.
When not at the office you can likely find Leah out on the water somewhere, with her sunscreen on! To schedule an appointment with Leah Schiller, please call us at 972-335-2727 (Frisco) or 940-312-6767 (Denton).
