Fillers

What are fillers?
Used to replace volume and minimize lines and wrinkles, these treatments can
be completed safely and effectively by Dr. Weisberg. Improvements are instant
and can last 6-18 months, depending on the filler.
What type of filler should I choose?
Dr. Weisberg will help you choose the optimal filler during your
consultation. He will choose from FDA approved fillers including Juvederm®,
Restylane®, Perlane® and Radiesse® among others. Selecting the correct
filler is just as important as placing it in the correct area.
Are they typically safe?
Yes. Dr. Weisberg will review the benefits and risks with you during
your consultation. All fillers used are FDA approved for use in the nasolabial folds (commas on
both sides of the mouth and upper lip).
Should I use Botox® Cosmetic, Dysport® or fillers?
That depends. During your consultation with Dr. Weisberg, the options
will be reviewed. You may be a better candidate for one treatment
or the other. Often, patients will benefit more from having a combination.
When will I see results?
Immediately. You may notice an improvement in the treated areas that
can last for 6-18 months. As with any cosmetic procedure, results
may vary.
Where can I get these fillers?

Why should I get my fillers from Dr. Weisberg?
It is important to know the qualifications and Board Certification
of your physician prior to your treatment. Please research the Board
Certification of your filler provider by visiting the Texas Medical
Board website at www.tmb.state.tx.us/
Dr. Weisberg is a board-certified dermatologist with many years of formal University based training in cosmetic treatments including the usage of fillers. Training of injectors at other businesses may vary widely from a few hours of non-formal, non-University based training to a few weeks.
Know who is treating you. Buyer beware!

folds only.

How many syringes should be used?
Every patient is different. During your consultation with Dr. Weisberg,
the number of syringes will be selected to optimize your appearance.
The examples below show the incremental improvement from no treatment,
to one syringe, to two full syringes.
